Biography:
Beginning as a the vocalist for the band Meties, Kaya (at that time known as Hime) has come a long since. After Meties disbanded, he moved on to be ISOLA's vocalist, and released a single titled "Egoiste Butterfly". After meeting Hora (ex Velvet Eden) they got together and formed the band Rudolf Steiner with Hora's ex band mate, R.Y.O, as their producer. After releasing two demo tapes, Kaya and Hora obtained a contract with Mana (ex Malice Mizer, Moi dix Mois). Changing their name to Schwarz Stein, the band released two singles and two albums, and in 2004 disbanded due to creative differences between members.
Kaya unofficially beginning his solo career with his ex band mate Hora, Kaya released a collaboration album titled Another Cell in 2006. In the same year, Kaya released his first solo single titled "Kaleidoscope" with the help of ex Velvet Eden, Kalm, followed by a second single. He stayed true to his views of decadence with dance music. In December he released his first full length album, "glitter", containing remix tracks from his previous singles, and new music provided by Hora and Kei Suziki.
April saw the release of his third single, "ouka Ryouran" with Kalm's help. This was followed by a mini album, Hyakki Yagyou", with a follow up theme from the previous single with a dark twist. On October 31st, his fourth single was release, "Carmilla". First press contained Kaya's first official PV, a live clip of Kugutsu.
Kaya has carried many successful lives with artist from Kamijo's label, Sherow Artist Society, such as Juka, Versailles, Hizaki Grace Project, etc.
